All our brothers are aged between 18 and 40 professionals of their trade. We try to select our brothers in a way that we have wide selection of trades presented. You can't apply for the membership - You are invited by the club.

We have meetings twice in a month excluding summer. Our annual traditions include the seasons opening meeting, the Christmas meeting, the chartring meeting and theme-parties in Winter. The Opening meeting places in the Spring. Highlight of the summer is RT-Jazz -meeting during the Pori Jazz Festival (Feel free to participate).

When a brother achieves the respectable age of 40 and becomes crook-kneed burden to the club, we kindly respect his honor and point the door. Of course we do it by great ceremonies and the fellow brother takes a direction toward Old Tablers world. Since 2008 has our CK's had the opportunity to join the sexiest OT-club in Finland: Please, bend your knees for the almighty OT-66.

Activity in RT

Round Table is a international organization for young men. Finnish national Round Table organization (RTSF) is integrated by clubs.

The roots of Round Table reaches all the way to the Britain of the 1920's. The first club was founded 1927 in Norrwich by Louis Marches. He was member of the local Rotary Club but he wanted to revise the club by proposing of a founding new rotary club for young men. Unfortunately this was not possible and Marcsi made a conclusion that revising mentioned new organization and therefore was Round Table saw its daylight. The first club in Finland was founded in Helsinki and is known as RT-1.

Round Table has not been founded in legacy of King Arthur but Round Table has inherited its name and principles from the speech given at the British Industries fair by Prince of Wales at that time in 1927.

"The young business and professional men of this country must get together round the table, adopt methods that have proved to be so sound in the past, adapt them to the changing needs of the time and, whenever possible, improve them"

- King Edward VIII

The Emblem

The design of the Round Table emblem is, however, an adaptation of the table which hangs in the great hall, Winchester and which is claimed to be the Round Table of the court of King Arthur.
